GATEWAY TO CATHOLIC SOCIAL DOCTRINE - PROFESSOR Dr. David Marzak Online
Course Time 6:30-8:00 PM Monday Evenings Sept 2- Dec 9 2024

It is Called Gateway because it is the intellectual entrance way to Catholic Social Doctrine. The Church's Social Teaching rests upon everything taught in this course, especially the mystery of the human person made to the Image of God, which is the correct starting point for proper study and mastery of the Social Question.

Gateway is really three courses rolled into one: Psychology - A study of the human person, esp the Trinitarian Mystery found in the powers and operations of body and soul that make a person to the image of God. Ethics - study of the virtues necessary for human growth through actualization of the spiritual powers/operations discovered in Psychology. Politics - study of the common good for human beings living in community, including functions and powers of government; different types of government and which is best (it can be demonstrated),  and a study of the relationships among: Divine Law, Natural Law and Human Law from a Catholic perspective using both Scripture and Philosophy - Faith and Reason.

Why did the Mother of God appear to St. Catherine Laboure in Paris, France at the dawn of the French Revolution? Why were her messages continued and more fully developed at Lourdes and then again at Fatima and most recently in Buenos Aires, Argentina? What has she said about the end of the reign of Satan and how is that related to Freemasonry and the conversion of Russia promised at Fatima.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND CATHOLIC END TIMES THEOLOGY - PROFESSOR Dr. David Marzak
Course Time 6:30-8:00 PM Thursday Evenings Sept 2- Dec 9, 2024

Catholic End Times Theology is essential for understanding the signs of the times, it will broaden horizons, diminish confusion, and open eyes to the coming triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Most Catholics have some vague idea about the rebuilding of a third temple, about the restoration of Israel and about the persecution of Antichrist. What they are unaware of is that these ideas are products of "Christian Zionism", a brand of Protestantism foreign to the Catholic faith. The deficiency is so great that even the Protestant National Council of Churches recognizes the need for more Christian versions:

“Christian Zionism is flourishing in part because of the lack of knowledge and popularly accessible alternative Christian theologies of the end-times

The Book of Revelation and End Times Theology provides a much needed Catholic alternative that negates the idea of a future third temple, the restoration of Israel, and the entire Evangelical reading of the Book of Revelation.
