GREATEST BOOKS LIBERAL ART COURSES ARE DIVIDED INTO SEMESTER COURSES AND SHORT COURSES
1. SEMESTER COURSES
Semester courses are regular semester length courses (12-15 weeks). There are two types of Semester Courses: "Video Semester Courses" and "Live Semester Courses".
A. VIDEO SEMESTER COURSES:
These courses include archived Greatest Books videos produced by the Center for Politics and Christian Civilization. They include self-grading online quizzes and power point presentations.
No schedule is needed: Log on anytime 24/7 at your convenence.
Video Course are available for the study of :
B. LIVE SEMESTER COURSES:
Live Semester Courses are regular twelve to fifteen week live meetings with a college professor in an online classroom twice per week for 55 minutes each.
Classrooms are equipped with white board and advanced audio capability that enables students to communicate with each other and with the professor, to answer questions, make text or audio comments, view power point presentations, add comments to the white board or see notes written there by the professor.
Students enter classrooms through a portal located on the course syllabus where they enter their user name and password.
2. SHORT COURSES
SHORT COURSES are from 1-4 weeks in duration. Like semester courses, short courses are provided as stand alone video courses or as live courses led by an actual professor in real time.

Live Short Courses meet in an online classroom for two to five week with a college professor in real time. The Classes run for an hour once or twice per week depending on the schedule
